Hey, I’m Julie McGhghy.
AUTHOR, MINISTER, AND SPEAKER.
I am the author of “Hey Dad, It’s Me! Discover the Father Who Loves and Protects You” – a book I wrote to help people that, like me, struggled to connect with our heavenly Father because they grew up with an emotionally or physically absent father.
In case you didn’t know, I’m a licensed minister, teacher, speaker and motorcycle enthusiast. For several years I was the National Ladies’ Chaplain for the AzusaStreetriders, which is a motorcycle ministry. I owned and rode my own motorcycle.
I have three children, eight grandchildren and a loving husband; all of whom love the Lord. My husband and children are a significant part of this book through their love and encouragement, and by allowing me to share a few of their stories and experiences!
I wrote Hey Dad, It’s Me! out of a desire to help people like my younger self, individuals who had suffered through a lack of paternal affection and connection, form a deep connection with God by seeing Him as more than a “heavenly Father” merely by title, but to experience Him as an active Father who loves and protects them.
Through its pages, I provide you with the tools, insights and processes (as well as some of my journey to God through letters to my earthly father) that allowed me to recognize that I was not fatherless, but was fathered by the Best – and will guide you to do the same!
